Shout out: Julissa Mercado

Normally, the wedding photographer does not get her hair done for the wedding, but Sam wanted me to be a part of the big day. So, off to the makeup chair I went. i cannot say I went begrudgingly- I'm a total girl and love hair and makeup. Julissa mercado of Beauty Brought Out made all us girls up to be total beauties on the day of.

Here is the style she did for me and she knocked it out of the ballpark! It looked so much like the pictures I brought in (Heidi Klum's do at an awards show)

Wedding: Samantha and Gary!

This is going to be a loooong post, but I make no apologies!

Last night was one of the most perfect weddings! It was so much fun. It had everything a wedding could have: love, friends, fun, and more love. A friend's wedding always make me think about the past and how much our relationship has grown since we've first met.

I have known sam since high school and she was Lauren's friend, who just happens to be my best friend's sister. we never really hung out much in high school, but we've all grown so close since then. I have some of the best girlfriends a person can ask for. If you're looking to have fun, Samantha is the girl to go to. She's so fun-loving and sweet. I don't know any bride who could pull of purple tights better than her!

Through Samantha, my husband and I have become close to Gary. Who, just like Samantha, loves to have a good time. I think Jimmy has a built in Wii partner (thank goodness!) He's kind hearted and had me almost burst into tears during his vows.

I know the two of you will have a wonderful marriage :)

Today i got to shoot some pics with some amazing photographers in Orlando. It was a mix of Bridals and Trash the dress. Here are some teaser pics of the always gorgeous Samantha. She looked AMAZING! I just had to post 2 of my favorite photos from their engagement session. I never posted it before because I didn't want to give too much of their session away.





Their wedding is coming up soon! I can't believe that next saturday will be their wedding day. I have a pretty busy schedule for the next two weeks,so i've been getting all my gear prepared. Keep posted on the blog. there's lots of stuff to come :)

I love my new lens!!!!!!!!!! It's awesome. I couldn't wait to test it out, so my poor dog had to be my model. I'm glad she accepts payment in nutra-bones!

Biking it

The Hubster and I went for an evening bike ride last night and I brought my camera along to take pictures of interesting things we find along the way.I didn't find a lot of neat things, but I did find litter. It's so sad to know that there are people who just drop things on the road and into the lake.



This little guy has been in a tree by our house since we have moved in. Who would leave such a an amazing piece of lawn decor behind ??
